Breadth of Experience

With a lifelong interest and degree in design, I have also been programming computers since 1977. In 1979 I was the co-creator of the first computer-aided design course at The University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Over the following decade I developed a prototype bit-mapped image editing program (i.e. Photoshop) and completed a retail inventory system that included a “natural language” search engine.

In 1998 I joined the SFSU Multimedia Studies Program as a student, teacher’s assistant, and ultimately, in 1999, as an instructor. That same year I joined Moonstone Interactive as a Lead Software Engineer and developed numerous websites, web applications, and multimedia CD ROMs for a broad range of clients.

Since 2003 I have been personally developing websites, e-commerce sites, and web applications for small to medium-sized businesses.
